Description
As some of you may know I am a nurse working in the NHS. I have created a piece of artwork that is very special to me, ‘Finding the Rainbow’. I wanted to create a piece of artwork that reflected how many of us felt recently and how we all hoped to find our rainbow during those very difficult times. This piece was truly deserving of Seaham’s rarer and special pieces of sea glass. Each piece of artwork is truly unique and will reflect the wonderful spectrum of sea glass colours that can be found on the beach and has been tumbled by the force of the North Sea for up to 170 years.
