‘Seaham’s Greens’, Seaglass Scatter, has been created using Seaham’s beautiful natural sea glass. This artwork showcases the green colour spectrum of glass that can be found. Green sea glass has the biggest range in tones and shades and I love them all. This piece of artwork has been mounted onto a premium matt 300g cream card. This piece has been titled ‘Seaham Greens’ and signed in handwritten ink and has been framed in a black, soft sheen, solid wood and slightly distressed, box frame with glass. The frame incorporates a hanging fixing for wall mounting as well as an option to display upright on surfaces.

I wanted to create a different theme for my sea glass art and tried to create a contemporary design to showcase the amazing tones and shades that can be found in green sea glass.
Green sea glass, I feel, is underrated. Teal is probably one of my top three favourite sea glass colours. The sea glass used in this artwork has been tumbled by the power of the North Sea for up to 170 years.
